Sell to Us

Selling to Kym’s Kiddy Corner is the easiest and fastest way to upcycle your items. We buy and trade items outright daily. You can easily shop while we process your items. No dropping and coming back for your items. Look for your next need, size, or gift while you wait! Please allow us up to 30 minutes to process. Although most times we can process within 15 minutes. Please keep in mind we are not always available to help you unload your items from your car to bring into our store. 

No appointments necessary, however we highly recommend you check with us before coming in by calling or texting us at 206-361-5974. (We love getting picture texts of equipment & furniture!) We can let you know if we are offering cash or store credit on your specific items - this includes clothing. Once you have spoken to us we ask that you come in with the items we approved within 3 days. Didn’t make it within 3 days? Just check back in before coming by.

We wish we could take it all but only have so much room to display your great items. We can fill up quickly. All items are subject to space availability. Please review the following to get a better understanding of what we accept and the guidelines we follow. 

What we buy

Clothing

We usually buy for the season we are in, although exceptions are made for higher end brands of outdoor wear, which we take year round. We begin taking outer winter wear in August and summer wear in March.

Favorite brands include but are not limited to: Kate Quinn, Magnetic Me, GAP, Patagonia, REI, Mini Boden, Zara, Tea, Laura Ashley, Kyte, Woolino, Tucker & Tate, Nordstrom and other “better” brands.

We do sometimes accept superb condition and unique pieces from  Carter's and Old Navy if we are in need of a certain size. We take Preemie up to size 10 years. 

We do take pretend play costumes and princess dresses year round. Halloween costumes mid September. We look for popular character costumes that generally are simple without a lot of accessories. 

Expectations

  • We do not buy clothing brands from Walmart and usually do not buy unbranded clothing. 
  • We do not buy/sell Maternity or Nursing clothing.
  • Clothing should be current styles and not outdated or vintage. 
  • Clothing must be clean, odor free, pet hair free, wrinkle free, stain free, and not have excessive wear. Maximum 2 bags or bins. 
  • Please have outfits/sets together, all buttons and snaps done, and lay flat or fold nicely for us to easily go through.

 

Shoes

We take size Newborn up to Youth size 4.

We usually buy for the season we are in (ex. Spring/Summer = sandals), although exceptions are made for great condition rain boots, which we take year round. We do take sports cleats seasonally.

Best selling brands include but are not limited to: Stride Rite, Keen, Natives, Crocs, Nike, Adidas, Salt Water Sandals, UGG, Converse, Vans, Hunter, Ten Little Toes, Merrell, See Kai Run.

Expectations

  • Shoes must be clean, odor free, and not have excessive wear. Pro tip: Throwing them in the washing machine can work wonders! 
  • Please bring with laces tied, buttons snapped, velcro secured.

Baby Gear

We take a wide variety of baby gear and accessories.

Expectations

  • We do not buy/sell full size cribs, infant & toddler car seats (except for the Doona carseat/stroller), Halo brand bassinets, crib bedding, room decor/lamps, small safety products, wood changing tables,or breastfeeding pumps & supplies.
  • Items should be checked for recalls at www.cpsc.gov
  • All items must be in working condition, damage free, clean, in newer, excellent used condition.
    Any tube tires need to be pumped up.

  • Rechargeable items need to be charged and have their charger.
